Keyboard Shortcuts

MBXRemote supports both local and global keyboard shortcuts. Global hotkeys work system-wide, even when MBXRemote is minimized or in the background.

Customizing Hotkeys

You can customize all hotkeys in the Settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Hotkeys
  2. Click on a hotkey row to select it
  3. Click "Record" or press the new key combination
  4. Toggle "Global" to make the hotkey work system-wide
  5. Click "Save" to apply changes

Initiator Actions

For more complex automation, use Initiator Actions to create custom macro scripts triggered by hotkeys.

Example: Quick Copy

Create a hotkey that selects all and copies:
